Founded in 2016 by Lucky Cat Zoë, the Sisters of Reggae are the UK’s first all-female Reggae DJ collective! Playing the sounds of vintage Jamaica: Ska, Rocksteady, Revival, Roots, Rockers and Early Digital.
The London-based collectors and selectors Lucky Cat Zoë, Debbie Golt,Miss Feelgood, Naoko The Rock and Sweetie are all DJs in their own right. Having played around the world in India, Japan, Ibiza and Berlin and festivals like – The London International Ska Festival, Reggae Geel and Rotomotom Sunplash. Between them they have supported the likes of David Rodigan, Channel One, Aba Shanti I, Max Romeo, Dubkasm and Axis Sound System.
Sisters of Reggae have a monthly residency at The Queens Head in Brixton as well as a radio show on Balamii, based in Peckham. This year they rocked the Roots Reggae stage at Bestival!
The Sisters were recently featured in Vice’s i-D magazine and have just been filmed for a documentary celebrating the anniversary of Trojan Records.

In early 2016, inspired by an article on Women in Sound systems, Lucky Cat Zoë brought together an elite DJing team of female reggae collectors to fight evil and bring good Reggae vibes to all!
